In June 2007, our core company MTU Friedrichshafen was awarded the prestigious “berufundfamilie” audit certificate by the federal minister for family affairs, Ursula von der Leyen. This certificate is annually given to companies that excel with employee-oriented human resources policies. Among the key factors for the certification was MTU’s diversified set of offers such as flexible working-time models, an emergency childcare program, training opportunities during parental leave, and scholarships of the Jean Raebel foundation for employee children.
