We turn special attention to the practical relevance of your training. That is why we get you involved in genuine production cycles from day one. It is also why we have designed specific training projects and set up individual “learning islands” for production, installation, and service. If you train as an industrial mechanic, already in your first year of training you will be assembling a complete low-power diesel engine out of 100 parts that you produced yourself at our training shop.

Versatile work among pistons, turbo chargers and exhaust manifolds: As an industrial mechanic you contribute your expertise to the manufacture and maintenance of powerful diesel engines or fuel injection systems. Our technical training provides you with all the necessary skills and experience for your career in engineering – e.g. in quality assurance, repair or service.
You will learn about the fundamentals of mechanics, metal working and control technology, attend courses on welding and soldering, and assume responsibility for genuine manufacturing orders from early on in your training. As a sought-after technical specialist you subsequently have the choice between exciting roles in the field of production, assembly or worldwide customer service.

Fuel cell, ball bearing or cylinder head gasket: As a technical design draftsman you really immerse yourself in the blueprints of versatile drive and energy systems. Using CAD software solutions you develop 3D models and compile parts lists, thus enabling the smooth manufacture and assembly of our engines and distributed power generation plants.
In cooperation with our developers and design engineers you prepare mounting drawings, calculate manufacturing tolerances and assume responsibility for the technical documentation. In addition to your professional training at MTU you visit the Berufskolleg, which provides you with the opportunity to attain a higher education entrance qualification.

Without the help of electronically controlled machinery, most of our manufacturing, assembly and logistics processes would literally come to a halt. As an electronic technician for automation technology you are in charge of our production’s “central nervous system”. Your scope of responsibility covers the installation, commissioning and maintenance of cutting-edge NC tool machines and computer-based transport and storage systems.
Your job is to service our energy supply installations, mount the necessary safety and control systems and calibrate the measuring equipment at our engine test stands. Don’t be afraid: By the end of your comprehensive professional education you will be well-equipped for any upcoming tasks. After you have completed the one-year vocational school for electrical engineering you will pass the remaining 2,5 years at our company, gradually assuming responsibility within our operating departments.
