New R&D test stands for the Tognum Group: Dr. Reiner Haseloff (centre), the Minister-President of Saxony-Anhalt; Dr. Lutz Trümper (right) Mayor of Magdeburg, and Dr. Ulrich Dohle (left),Tognum CTO, started up the four new single-cylinder test stands for large diesel and gas engines at the Tognum subsidiary ‘SKL Motor’ in Magdeburg. The stands are to be used for research into the gas and diesel engine technology of the future. The regional government of Saxony-Anhalt contributed around 2.5 million euros to the total of 10 million euros being invested in the test stands.
